Aikido Kokikai RI

Aikido Koikai Rhode Island is a certified dojo of Kokikai Aikido International under the direct supervision of Kokikai Founder and President, Master Shuji Maruyama.  Enjoy our website and please stop by and visit our dojo.  All are welcome.  Every class is open to beginners.

Otto Liebmann , chief instructor at AKRI, began his Aikido Kokikai training in New York City in 1995.  In 2002 he moved to San Francisco and was a chief instructor in the San Francisco dojo until 2007.  In 2008 he moved to Rhode Island.  Otto regularly trains with Kokikai Aikido's founder, Sensei Shuji Maruyama when he visits the US tri-annually.  Otto has also visited and trained with Maruyama Sensei in Japan.

Aikido classes are free with YMCA membership.
